A Feast at the Kuryer’s (Biesiada u Kuryera) is back in style. Following the first edition, which was full of flavours and good vibes, we invite you to the second edition of this special evening shared around a communal table.
On 18 September, we’ll get together to transport ourselves once again to a world where food tastes like home cooking, the table brings people together, and the evening is best spent in good company.
It’ll be cosy and plentiful!
Instead of a traditional dinner served course by course, at our ‘Feast at the Courier’ we’re focusing on sharing food – platters brimming with flavours from Kraków and the Lesser Poland region will be placed in the centre of the table, and guests can put together their own feast.
There’ll be country bread with lard, a platter of home-style cured meats and a selection of homemade accompaniments: pickled gherkins and marinated mushrooms.
Later, warm, toasted dumplings with roast potatoes, stuffed potatoes and moskol with garlic butter will be served.
For the main course, we’ll be serving roast pork shoulder, braised cabbage, potato dumplings with meat, and campfire potatoes with rosemary.
A platter of homemade cakes will be waiting for a sweet finish.
To really get into the spirit of the evening, we encourage you to wear an outfit with a Kraków touch. It doesn’t have to be a full folk costume – a small detail will suffice, such as red beads, an embroidered element or another accessory inspired by Kraków and the Lesser Poland region.
