  1. This Privacy Policy defines the rules for processing and protecting personal data provided by users in connection with their use of services offered by the website Garamond, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Krakow Old Town (hereinafter: the Service)
  2. The administrator of personal data contained in the Service is PI Garamond Hotel Sp. z o.o., Kraków 31-358, ul. Jasnogórska 1, registered under tax identification number NIP: 6793178433 (hereinafter: ADO).
  3. In the interest of the security of entrusted personal data, ADO operates based on internal procedures and recommendations, compliant with relevant legal acts regarding personal data protection, and particularly with the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.
  4. ADO exercises particular diligence to protect the interests of the persons whose data are processed, and in particular ensures that personal data are:
    1. processed lawfully,
    2. collected for specified, lawful purposes and not subjected to further processing incompatible with those purposes,
    3. accurate and appropriate to the purposes for which they are processed,
    4. kept in a form enabling identification of the data subjects no longer than necessary to achieve the purpose of processing.
  5. ADO acquires information about users and their behavior through voluntary input of information in forms, for the purpose of:
    1. responding to user inquiries submitted via the contact form based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR,
    2. accepting reservations using the online booking system based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR,
    3. providing services offered by ADO based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR,
    4. marketing, including sending commercial information to the email address, if the Client has given consent by ticking the appropriate box during the reservation process based on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent for data processing for marketing purposes and sending commercial information may be withdrawn by clicking the appropriate link in the received message or by sending such a request to the ADO's email address,
    5. realizing the legitimate interest of ADO in specific cases based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, e.g. debt collection,
  6. Upon the first visit to the website of Garamond, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Krakow Old Town the user is informed about the use of cookies. By remaining on the site, the user accepts the use of cookies on the website. Not changing the browser settings on the user’s side is equivalent to consenting to the use of cookies.

Users can also request the deletion of their personal data from the service at any time. The right to data portability does not apply as no standard for exchange of such data among hotel facilities has been established.

  21. Service users have the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal, by direct contact with ADO or, in case of technology, by changing the cookie settings.
  22. Any Service user may file a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Office.
  23. The Service may contain links to other websites, which operate independently from the Service and are not supervised by the Service. These sites may have their own privacy policies and terms of use, which we recommend carefully reviewing.
  24. ADO reserves the right to change the privacy policy of the service, which may result from the development of internet technology, possible legal changes in personal data protection, and Service development. Users will be informed about any changes in a clear and understandable manner.
